Fathers’ “Fire” Circles
Modern man’s increasing dependence on “having” prevents experiencing “being”. Many engaged fathers lead lonely lives, but they are not alone! To ensure that fathers can be part of a group of involved fathers, feel connected and strengthened in their fatherhood, I organize fathers’ circles. In the summer we keep “fire” circles around the campfire. Main language is Dutch. In case there is enough enthusiasm i would be more than willing to have an English speaking circle.
Father and Son Weekends
Put those screens down and go play outside!” are words that reveal a deep need of parents. Rightly so! More than half of the children do not play outside enough. And that is a loss.
If you want to do something really exclusive with your son, you are welcome to participate in the father-son weekend of the “mannenhart” community that I am part of! Chopping wood, making a fire, making a tarp, sleeping under the starry sky and the connection around the campfire. How special would that be? A real “once in a lifetime bonding experience” for father and son! The next weekends are in May (31) and October (11) 2024 . The main language is Dutch.
